Our "Trick Art" paintings are complete! We had lot of fun designing these interactive artworks in our after school club and they were a smash hit at our school wide art show.
Please join us in celebrating achievement in art at QISS and the 2015 ACAMIS Cultural Convention at the 138 Warehouse Gallery on May 23rd. Tickets are 50 RMB and include delicious refreshments and fun activities for all ages.
The gallery is a little difficult to find so give yourself plenty of time to get there. The address is at 138 Xiang Gong Lu and the nearest intersection is at Hai long Lu and Xiang Gong Lu. If you go towards the water from that intersection, on the right hand side, there is a gate to some apartment buildings with a flag that says 138 on it. Follow the road to the right to find the gallery.

Grade 2 is working on perceiving line, shape and color in the environment and representing those elements of art in a still life painting. Our painting is inspired by Matisse, one of Grade 2's favorite artists.
Grade 2 has been studying how warm and cool colors create different moods. We're exploring how to create secondary colors from primary and get to have beautiful collage paper too.
